WiMAX Fixed/Nomadic PDF Print E-mail

Overview:

Whether you are deploying a new network or evolving from an existing network, Sloka’s cost-effective units are ideal solutions. Our focus is on providing ‘completely managed' networks that will help in maximizing your revenues per subscriber while reducing your capital and operating expenditures.

Our WiMAX fixed/nomadic solutions, are available in both licensed and the 5.8GHz unlicensed frequencies.

Sloka’s Broadband Wireless Access solution is a perfect fit for small-to-medium Wireless Internet service providers as it provides a significant cost advantage on two fronts:-

  • Patented SDBS architecture to create very low-cost base stations.
  • Fully outdoor base station unit (requires no Indoor unit) - No requirement for expensive AC housing.

Sloka’s ingenious method for low-cost deployment is leading the way in making wireless connectivity in remote and rural locations of developing countries a viable option.

Sloka provides reliable QoS (Quality of Service) for triple-play (Voice, Data, Video) and robust network efficiency enabling better services and high-speed data rates.

SDBSA – Software Defined Base Station Architecture

Sloka's patented and unique SDBS architecture goes into making extremely compact and low-cost base stations weighing less than 3 Kg with a volume less than 3 Liters.

Sloka has also tied with up with leading technology partners to incorporate patented heat sinking methodology into its base stations. This has helped Sloka to eliminate the requirement of vents and fans and to develop completely outdoor base station units. These outdoor units can be easily deployed on walls, poles or roofs without requiring expensive AC housing.
